About The Role

Contract: 10 Months Fixed Term Contract initially (Some flexibility maybe required, as this a Maternity Cover Contract)
Full Time: 37.5 hours per week, 9.30am – 6pm with an hour unpaid lunch, Mondays – Fridays 
Salary: depending on experience
Start Date: Approx. Early May 2023 
Location: Gas Ferry Road Studio, Bristol – hybrid working (a minimum of 3 days in the office)

The Role:
Part of Aardman’s Sales and Marketing division, the Brand Manager is responsible for implementing UK brand strategies for Aardman’s IP, maximising all activity surrounding the character brands. This role works closely with company stakeholders, reporting directly to Senior Brand Manager and working within a brand management team, alongside Studio Publicist, Community Managers, Licensing Managers, Distribution and Acquisitions and Attractions & Live experiences team.  

This role will be responsible for the daily management of key Aardman IP as well as longer term planning and strategy to meet brand and business objectives. 

About You

Candidates will need experience in planning and implementing marketing and brand plans, ideally with hands on character and/or licensing experience. You will be no stranger to managing various projects at any one time. We’re looking for a creative thinker with a proven experience in managing marketing and promotional campaigns. Applicants will need excellent organisational skills, an experience of tracking budgets but above all a great communicator and team player. 

For this maternity cover contract, we’re happy to discuss flexible working patterns, worked Mondays to Fridays and hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days in the Bristol office.
